A 5 page list of the members of The Rifle Company commanded by Captain Peter Robinson, of the 1st regiment York Militia, dated August 16, 1812. This list also appears to act as a ledger to determine the shares (by rank), the pay grade and the currency amount to be paid to each man. The regiment was stationed at Fort Detroit, at this time during the War of 1812. There is also an accompanying letter to Beth Sinyard, Curator, from mr. Gordon Thede, a descendant of Ludwick Wideman, a member of Captain Robinson's company during General Brock's attack on Fort Detroit. |
